Terms and seller agreement

1. What SportsSial is
SportsSial is an online marketplace that connects buyers with manufacturers and exporters based in Sialkot, Pakistan. Sellers list products; buyers can buy at a fixed price, bid in auctions, make offers, or post a request for quotes. The contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller. We provide the platform and the checks described below.
2. What the badges mean
- Registered means a seller supplied identity, tax, registration, bank and address documents, and our team reviewed them and cross-checked them with the relevant public records and a call with the owner. Registered sellers may list and trade on the platform.
- Verified member means a registered seller that also passed an on-site factory inspection and has a 360° tour. A seller without a 360° tour is not a verified member. The inspection means people from our own team visited the seller's premises on the date shown, completed our inspection checklist, and recorded the 360° tour displayed on the seller's page. It is valid for twelve months and may be withdrawn earlier. Sellers cannot upload or edit these tours.
- These badges describe checks of a business at a point in time. They are not a guarantee of quality, delivery, or the outcome of any transaction, and not a government certification. Buyers should still use judgement and keep to the payment rules below.
3. Buying and paying
- Pay only by bank transfer into the account shown on your order. Never pay into a different account, even if a seller asks you to.
- Upload your transfer receipt on the order page. The seller confirms it before shipping.
- If something looks wrong, use the Report button on the seller or listing page. Do not send money to settle a dispute outside the platform.
4. Seller agreement
By submitting a seller application you agree that:
- Everything you tell us and every document you upload is true, current and belongs to your business. Forged or altered documents mean permanent removal and may be reported to the authorities.
- You will list only products you actually make or hold, with accurate descriptions, prices, minimum order quantities and photos.
- You will ship confirmed and paid orders on the lead time you stated, and refund buyers promptly if you cancel an order that was paid.
- You will receive payments only into the business bank account you registered with us, and you will not ask buyers to pay anywhere else.
- You allow our team to visit your premises, take photographs and record a 360° virtual tour, and to publish the tour and our inspection findings on the platform. You can withdraw this permission by closing your account, after which we will stop showing the tour.
- You will keep your registration, tax and bank details up to date and tell us if they change.
- We may hide listings, suspend or remove your account, or withdraw your badges at any time if we have reason to believe you are breaking these terms, are the subject of credible reports, or put buyers at risk.
5. Not allowed
Fake or misleading listings, counterfeit or unlawful goods, taking payments outside the platform, manipulating bids or reviews, harassing other users, and attempting to bypass the checks described above.
6. Reports and enforcement
We review every report. We may ask both sides for information, suspend accounts while we investigate, and tell a reporter the outcome. Decisions are recorded in an internal audit log.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for a seller's or buyer's failure to perform a contract between them, and our total liability to any user is limited to the fees, if any, that the user paid to us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We may update them; continued use after an update means you accept it. Sellers will be asked to re-accept the Seller Agreement if it changes materially.
